CONTROLS
~~~~~~~~
The default controls are:
Action			Key
 Accelerate		1 (Number keypad)
 Brake			2 (Number keypad)
 Turn left		z
 Turn right		x
 Powerslide		Space bar
 Turbo boost		c
You can change the above controls in the program's configuration screen, which will be changed
for later versions (as it's very inadequate to say the least!)...
HOW TO POWERSLIDE CORRECTLY
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 To start a powerslide, turn in a direction and hold the powerslide key. You also need to
release the accelerate key before AND during the powerslide. You can use the brake while
sliding, but be careful not to apply too much otherwise you'll lose time.

 Once the powerslide initiates, continue to steer round the corner. If you are negotiating
a long turn, be careful not to apply too much steering to the left or right, as this will
result in you spinning out. The best way to tackle long turns is to powerslide hard to begin
with, then release the steering once the car is sliding enough to take you round the remainder
of the turn.

 To come out of a powerslide, release the powerslide key and then hold the accelerate key.
Now you have to steer hard in the opposite direction (although not too much!) in order to
'recover' your car and stop it from sliding. You can tell when your car is still sliding by the
trail of dust clouds. If you steer too hard and slide in the other direction, then bring it
back quickly!

 One more thing...whatever you do, DON'T powerslide too fast into the grass, or too far into
the edges. This will result in an instant spin out. To avoid this, hit the brake button if your
powerslide starts to go wrong (or even if you need to recover quickly).

JUMP RAMPS
~~~~~~~~~~
Hit one of these in order to 'jump' long distances. The faster you go, the higher you'll jump
(try using some turbo just before!). To add even more speed to the jump, hold the space bar
(powerslide) just before hitting the ramp - this has to be timed accurately.
TURBO BOOST
~~~~~~~~~~~

If you really want to 'burn rubber', press (and hold) the turbo key for a burst of extra speed.
The more turbo you have before pressing the key, the higher your top speed will be...so use it
wisely. Your turbo slowly builds up as you race around the track, powerslide and collect rings.

ADDITIONS SINCE THE LAST DEMO:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 The first proper track that will be in the finished game.
 Game crashes eliminated (I think) when colliding in certain ways with objects.
 Lakes and rings added.
 Bouncing on top of objects in midair - try this with the mushrooms after jumping over the
water. You need to be at top speed (no turbo boost) and hit the space bar for that little extra
height.
 From a standing start (first lap) 40 seconds or under is pretty good. See if you can beat
36:84! (my time after some practice)
